01Who are we?

Cotara is the trading name of [TO CONFIRM], with registered address at [TO CONFIRM] and company number [TO CONFIRM]. We operate an online marketplace connecting high-Andean artisans with buyers worldwide.

The name "Cotara" is a working proposal. A trademark search (INDECOPI, EUIPO, USPTO) is still pending.

02Use of the site

This site is public and accessible without creating an account. By browsing and placing orders you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

You may not use the site for illegal activities, to send unsolicited communications, or to attempt to alter prices or other transaction conditions.

03Orders and purchase contract

By clicking "Place order" you make a purchase offer. The contract is concluded when we send you a confirmation email with the order number.

The price you pay is the one shown by the server at the time of confirmation, in Peruvian soles (PEN). Any dollar (USD) equivalent you see while browsing is a reference conversion; the charge is made in PEN.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if we detect a pricing error or if the item becomes unavailable before shipment. In that case we refund the full amount.

04Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout: [TO CONFIRM]. Card data is handled directly by the payment gateway; we do not store card numbers or CVV codes.

In the current demonstration version no real charge is made. Final payment methods and exact conditions will be confirmed before launch.

05Shipping and delivery

We ship worldwide. The shipping cost and estimated delivery time are calculated and shown before you confirm payment. Times are estimates and may vary due to customs conditions or external causes.

Preparation times by destination are: [TO CONFIRM]. Tracking is available from the shipping confirmation email.

06Returns

We accept returns for pieces that arrive damaged or do not match the description. The return window is [TO CONFIRM] days from receipt.

To start a return, write to us at [TO CONFIRM] with your order number and photographs of the piece as you received it. The cost of return shipping and who bears it are [TO CONFIRM].

Items must be returned in the same condition they were sent, with no signs of use. Once we receive and verify the return, we refund you by the same original payment method.

07Intellectual property

Photographs of pieces, artisan texts and the site code are the property of their respective authors. You may share a link to any page, but you may not reproduce content without permission.

Artisans retain the rights to their work. Cotara holds a licence to publish and sell the pieces on this site.

08Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the order amount. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the site or from delivery delays caused by third parties or force majeure.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

09Modifications

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one published on this page with its effective date. Orders already confirmed are governed by the version in force at the time of confirmation.

10Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of [TO CONFIRM]. Any dispute is subject to the courts of [TO CONFIRM], unless the consumer protection law of your country provides otherwise.
